Merry Engagement

Logline: 
This is a story about Shanice, a lonely drunk in her mid-twenties, going through her breakup, who flirts with a petty thief, who comes to rob her house on a Christmas night.

Synopsis: 
On Christmas night, SHANICE, in her early twenties, is drunk and calls her ex-boyfriend, blackmailing him to come home as she has consumed all her medication with scotch. She thinks that he would come to save her from death and unlocks her door, switches of her lights, and slides on the floor. LEON CARTER in his early twenties, wearing a mask looks at the open door and the untouched mail outside expects to rob the house, walks inside stepping on a toy, making sound waking up Shanice who is surprised to see a burglar robbing her house and tries to warn him by calling cops, Leon pulls out a gun and threatens to kill her, but depressed over her break up Shanice asks Leon to end her life, but he has no intention of killing her. She tries to beg him to shoot her but Leon draws the gun and puts in it behind his jeans and starts searching the house to steal things, Shanice tries to persuade him and ends up snatching the gun out of Leon and pulls the trigger on herself, but nothing happens because it’s a fake one. At the moment Shanice realizes the value of life and Leon tells her that she is happy to live. Shanice understands the importance and asks Leon for a date night.

Post Proposal

Stella and G just finished escorting their guest out of their apartment after a nice dinner where G just proposed to Stella. Stella confronts G about the unexpected proposal, and how he just embarrassed her. G agrees that he may have embarrassed her, however, the proposal should have superseded her fear of marriage. That’s when Stella reveals it may not be a fear of marriage; it's that she wants them to see other people, first. G is not having that.

Synopsis: As Tacoma is waiting for her father to come home, John finally comes home to see her daughter, not at her prep school. Tacoma then points the gun to her father to make him confess his crimes against her mother. After firing a few ballots, John finally confesses to killing Tacoma’s mother. After his confession, he thinks that she won’t be able to prove it until she shows him that she live-streamed his confession on the internet. Once realizing that he won’t be able to get out of this, John kills himself.

No Second Chance

We hear the slate. The shooting begins. When a person walks into the parking lot, a skateboarder is playing. The speed of the skateboarder is too fast. It's about to hit the person. The director yells 'CUT! ‘The crew moves to next take. Same shot and same action in take 1 The skateboarder is waiting for the director's CUT. He is very close to the walker. But he doesn't get the word from director. When he looks at the director, there is no one there. The crew disappears. Everything is real, not in a movie. He doesn' t pay attention to the road and falls.

Tagline: Life is not a movie there is no second chance.

Distracted Safety Message

Two bloggers, Terrel and McKenley (MC), attempt to capture viral fame with a live-streamed hip-hop battle. McKenley, stuck at a bus station, improvises by broadcasting remotely while on the move. Oblivious to his surroundings, he focuses solely on battling Terrel, who streams from home. The unexpected occurs when MC suddenly disappears from the feed, following a collision on the street. This dramatic twist leaves viewers hanging, showing only the sky from Terrel's perspective. Concerned, Terrel's attempts to reach MC are met with silence until the scene reveals MC on the ground as a bystander assists him. The incident quickly gains traction online, with social media buzzing. Despite the mishap, their performance achieves viral status, living up to one viewer’s comment, "You didn't lie! This definitely will be viral!" The script explores the fine line between online spectacle and real-life events in the quest for internet fame.

A man bored on his way to Work starts to let his mind Wonder. As he drives, he starts to Daydream. He is fantasizing about being a hero. Back in the car he grows Increasingly pleased with Himself, before letting his Mind drift off again. He is now completing Another heroic act He is in the car now very Pleased with himself loving The idea of being a hero. He is distracted and begins to Daydream off again.

Never Too Late…To Be a Hero

A Guy shows us his collection of toys. He shares that toys lit up his childhood. Picking up an action figure, he tells us that he dreamed of having ‘superpowers’ to help people like the superhero does. He continues: “Today I have a superpower!” Doorbell rings. He hands the box to Volunteers (could be Firefighter volunteers) from the SF Toy Program. A young girl (8-12 years) receives the toy which happens to be the female hero toy.

This Could be Your Ride

Synopsis: A boy struggling to get the courage to approach his love interest is left hanging as she catches a ride with her fire-fighting team.

Teenage boy
High school boy, 17. Thin like a runner. Nice looking and clean with a natural mop of hair. Shy confidence even though he does not have much life experience. When he meets the beautiful teenage girl at the bus stop his shyness overtakes any confidence he thinks he has. Even so, he musters up the courage to talk to her.

Firefighter, 18. Clearly athletic and tomboyish but confident with a great smile. Think Kristen Stewart - punk sexy. She has leadership qualities revealed through her strong sense of self and knowing who she is and what she wants to do. She is a role model for other kids and loves to be of service. She has an inclusive quality that is inviting and charming.

The official music video for the debut single "Half A Heart" from the album "C'est La Vie". About the journey of grief and the unexpected toll it takes on a persons life. We have many choices in life, but the one we never get is whether or not we lose someone we love and care about. In the moments that we cherish, we are creating memories of the people around us that shall remain with us even after they are gone. And when they do leave this plane of existence, all we can do is say c'est la vie. As it is the sad truth. There is no life without death.

Knock Knock

The story is about a frantic woman, Julie, who is being chased by her psycho boyfriend, Jimmy. She dashes into an apartment where she claims the occupant, Kyle, is her lover (in order to try and get her boyfriend to leave.) The story starts involving Kyle's girlfriend Erin who shows up wonder who this strange woman is in Kyle's apartment at night. Before long the psycho boyfriend has a knife to Erin's throat and they must all find a way to disarm Jimmy before he kills someone.

The Hug

Matthew is a lost kid who didn't know what he was doing with his life. The morning on July 24th, 2011, I got this horrible pain in my left testicle and went to the hospital to find out what was going on. After they did tests, I found out that I had a lump in my testicle and it was cancer. When hearing those words "After looking at your test results, we found a lump in your testicle, we believe it is cancerous" those words changed my life. I kept thinking "Why me god?" I didn't understand why he would give me such a horrible disease. After the doctor left, this wonderful nurse came in and told me "I had breast cancer, so I know how you feel" I felt so alone and lost at the time, didn't know what to do when I told my mother that I had cancer. Seeing how hopeless I was, the nurse asked me if I wanted a hug. nodding my head up and down, she gave me the greatest hug in my life. With every nerve in my body shaking in fear, once she started hugging me, every nerve in my body went from shaking to still, not one of my nerves was shaking. The feeling I had from that hug can't be explained. I felt like an angel was sent down to show the love that God had for me, giving me the strength that I needed to beat this thing. I'll never forget this woman, she gave me the strength that I needed to defeat cancer. Thank you for reading and I hope you enjoy the movie.
